Documentary Poster

I was shown the documentary "Typeface"  in class and designed this cover for it using the existing poster as inspiration. I enjoyed the original design of overlaying the letters on top of each other but I wanted to see a different font and color scheme. Another comparison of the two designs is that the original looks as if it was screen-printed onto paper and scanned in so I wanted to do a more digital take on the design.
